From the Interim Pastor's Desk February 2008
No sooner do we put away the cradle of Christmas this year than we find the cross of Lent looming before us. The cross is not a pretty sight. But then, it is not meant to be. Yet there is beauty and glory to be found in the love Christ's suffering expressed upon it. As Christians we have vowed to be faithful to our Lord and to advance His work of healing, serving, and reconciling all kinds of people to God and each other.
For every measure of service and support you give to Christ's work in time, talent, and treasury in the church and in the world, we are profoundly grateful!
To help you keep your thoughts on course through Lent, we ask that you accept the devotional booklet sent to you as a gift from your Church and use it regularly at the beginning of each day. This will help bind our Church Family Together as we are enriched with this common inspirational material. May blessings come from your faithful use of it.
Please check the Church Services and Church at Work pages on this site for upcomming events planned by the Worship Committee.
See you at worship!
