As in the past the church service will begin at 10:00 am September 2007 through May 2008.

                                  JUNIOR CHURCH SCHOOL

September 2nd starts the new year for Junior Church School.   We will have our classes during the 10:00 worship hour.  This year for our cirriculum we will again be using Live Big.  It is focused on Living Your Belief in God.  It has Bible-based lessons, activities, and a video that brings the stories to life.  We invite all children to come and bring a friend.  Also once a month the children will have time at the computer learning about different people of the Bible.

  
A Renovation Committee is being formed to organize some of the much needed repairs to the Church building.  The first meeting will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 10 AM at the church.  Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to help.  If you are interested, contact John Strack at 717-866-2053, or just show up at the meeting.

The Lebanon Association of the UCC Church Leaders' Banquet will be held on Saturday February 2nd at Quentin UCC.  Cost:  $12.00 per person, Time:  4:00 - 7:00 PM.  Deadline for sign up:  Sunday January 27th.  There will be recognition of Lay Persons.  Please see Rebecca Grumbine for more info.

The Zion Goshert's UCC Friendship Banquet will be held at Mt. Zion Fire Hall on Saturday  February 16, 2008.  A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

Church Swim Party, March 8.  6:00 to 8:00 PM.  The sign up sheet will be on the bulletin board for anyone that is interested.
